Job summary

Easterseals Early Learning Center- Hickory Hills, IL seeks an Instructional Coordinator – Directly Operated Site to lead education, disability services, and mental health supports across Head Start programs. You will coach staff, ensure screenings and referrals, and partner with LEAs to deliver inclusive, trauma‑informed services.

This senior role focuses on program quality, data systems, and collaboration with center leadership to enroll and support children with diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as listed in Education/Certification is required.
• Minimum 3 years of early childhood classroom experience.
• Minimum 2 years of administrative, supervisory, or coaching experience.
• Experience in Head Start/Early Head Start is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching to classroom staff on lesson planning, curriculum, and instructional strategies.
• Provide disability and social‑emotional training to staff, teachers, and parents.
• Assist in program planning for social‑emotional and disability services based on outcomes.
• Guide staff on IEPs/IFSPs and assessment tools.
• Participate in CLASS assessments and support improvement planning.
• Lead professional development for staff on inclusive practices and trauma‑informed care.
• Coordinate mental health supports with Family Services and Center leadership.
• Travel to Easterseals locations as needed.
