Job summary

Springtown ISD is hiring for a Daycare Employee at the Gilley Learning Center in Springtown, TX. The role supports a safe learning environment and delivers a structured curriculum for early childhood growth.

The position requires a High School Diploma and being at least 21 years old, with prior licensed childcare experience preferred. This full-time role reports to the Daycare Director and includes CPR/First Aid training and ongoing staff development opportunities.

• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and healthy environment for children and present a curriculum to direct and enhance growth.
• Maintain weekly lesson plans and supervise children at all times.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in staff development activities.
• Prepare environment weekly for activities in art, music, science and dramatic play.
• Supervise and interact with children, parents, staff, and the Director in a positive manner.
• Record keeping: maintain child files and required records.
