Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 CDE/ECE units from an accredited college or university.
• Infant Program: Completion of at least 6 ECE/CD units (if applicable).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
• Provide supportive interactions to foster social-emotional development.
• Maintain active supervision and visual awareness of all children at all times.
• Support daily classroom routines (transitions, meals, rest, outdoor play).
• Communicate with Lead Teacher to ensure consistency in lesson plans and guidance.
• Maintain accurate confidential documentation (observations, attendance, incidents).
• Assist in preparing materials, cleaning, organizing, and setting up environments.
• Support inclusive practices for diverse abilities and dual language learners.
• Foster a welcoming, culturally responsive classroom and family engagement.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and required trainings.
