Job summary

Virtua Health in South Jersey is seeking a part-time specialist to provide child development evaluations and to determine goals and treatment plans for behaviorally diverse toddlers, including those with ASD concerns.

Minimum two years of direct care with birth to 5, and a BA/BS in special education, early childhood, or psychology are required. Crisis Management Certification is preferred. The role offers per diem scheduling and an hourly rate of $55.00 to $130.00.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of direct care experience with birth to 5 implementing behavioral intervention programs.
• Experience providing child development evaluations and planning treatment goals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates comprehensive evaluation/assessment skills and adjusts treatment plan as needed.
• Communicates effectively with families to educate and provide resources.
• Develops home and community behavior management programs and reinforcement strategies.
• Maintains records and client documentation accurately and timely.
• Keeps thorough documentation in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborates with team members and utilizes support staff when appropriate.
