Job summary

Clackamas Education Service District seeks a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to support EI/ECSE services for young children birth to five. The PTA collaborates with the Physical Therapist, families, and preschool staff to implement motor plans in diverse settings including home and school environments.

Qualified candidates will hold an Oregon PTA license, have pediatrics experience, and be proficient with adaptive equipment. Travel between locations is expected; flexible scheduling may apply.

Qualifications

• Oregon PTA license is required.
• Experience in pediatrics and with low-incidence disabilities.
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and related technology.
• Ability to fabricate/repair equipment using basic shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized services to young children birth to five in homes, childcare, or preschool settings.
• Train classroom staff to deliver motor plans with fidelity.
• Assist PT in delivering services and collaborating with staff.
• Fabricate and repair motor equipment for students or classroom use.
• Maintain data-driven progress monitoring and ensure safety in environments.
