Job Overview

Welcome candidate. Did you know that LMSWs are qualified to provide therapy services to children ages 0-3 years old in New York? We are a boutique agency willing to train new and seasoned ABA therapists for cases in all 5 boroughs. As an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapist, you will observe patients, create treatment plans, and reinforce helpful behaviors through play and in their natural environment.

Responsibilities

• Help patients with behavioral improvement
• Observe, identify, analyze and respond to patient behaviors
• Teach patients about basic life skills and academic learning strategies
• Help patients improve their communication, speech and social skills
• Have individual discussions with patients to create personalized rehabilitation strategies
• Communicate with patients' family members
• Conduct administrative tasks, like maintaining records after a therapy session

Qualifications

MUST BE AN LMSW to qualify!

Preferred

• Bilingual a plus
• Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis and Special Instruction preferred but will train
• Experience working in home-based programs, schools or daycares
