Qualifications

• Certification as School Psychologist in Pennsylvania is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist school districts with screening children who may need psychological services.
• Participate in team evaluations and administer individual psychological tests to children.
• Assist with implementing procedural safeguards for exceptional children.
• Participate in IEP conferences as appropriate.
• Provide counseling services to parents of exceptional children.
• Develop lines of communication with supervisors.
• Communicate with local non-school agencies regarding exceptional children's needs.
• Participate in the development of in-service activities for educators.
