Early Intervention Specialist (Family Trainer)

About Play is looking to hire an Early Interventionist (Family Trainer) for Charleston, Berkley, and Dorchester counties in South Carolina. We seek energetic, creative, motivated, and passion-driven professionals with excellent time management and organizational skills. Prior experience as an early interventionist, in teaching, or early child development is preferred. Recent or upcoming college graduates with a related degree and willingness for on-the-job training are also encouraged to apply.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or a related field, plus 1 year of documented experience working with children birth to six years old. Prior early intervention experience is preferred.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in ANY field with 5 years of documented experience with infants, toddlers, or children aged birth to 5 with disabilities. Please include all relevant work experience on your resume.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Base salary of $40,000 annually, with travel mileage reimbursement at .45 per mile up to a $565 monthly cap. Including mileage reimbursement, total earnings could reach up to $46,780 annually.
Location: Must reside in the listed counties and surrounding areas in South Carolina.
