Family of Kidz is seeking a Special Educator EI to support children in an Early Intervention program across Greater Catskills and Southern Tier, NY. The role offers part-time hours with potential for full-time status based on caseload and needs.

Compensation is hourly and varies by location, with rates specified by EI services in Schoharie, Steuben, and Delaware counties. Professional experience and licenses influence the final arrangement. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with IFSP goals and Early Intervention frameworks.
• Ability to develop IFSP-based lessons and report progress.
• Strong written and verbal communication with families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in an Early Intervention program providing individualized lessons aligned with IFSP goals.
• Develop creative, multi-sensory lessons based on IFSP goals and report progress toward these goals.
• Collect data on IFSP goals and generate 6-month progress reports.
