Job summary

Center for Family and Child Enrichment, Inc. is hiring for full-time and part-time Early Intervention roles. You will work with families of children birth to 3, provide home-based services, and coordinate with other providers to support developmental goals.

A bachelor’s degree and 300 practicum hours are required. Bilingual candidates encouraged; sign-on bonus offered and performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (infants/toddlers, ECE, special education or child studies).
• Minimum 300 practicum or work hours with children under five.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Adobe and Office365 incl. Outlook/OneDrive/Teams.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of infant-toddler development.
• Use a parent coaching model with families.
• Participate in screenings, assessments, and home/center visits as part of a trans-disciplinary team.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all areas of infant-toddler development.
• Utilize a parent coaching model in work with families.
• Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.
• Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.
• Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services for families including child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.
• Provide service coordination to assigned caseload including coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a major or concentration in infants and toddlers, early childhood education, special education or child studies.
• 300 hours of practicum or work experience with children under five years of age.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365 including Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Ability to use computer-based technology including a computer/laptop and cell phone
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
