Job summary

Acelero Learning Williston is seeking a dedicated early childhood professional to support infants and toddlers. You will implement individualized learning plans, deliver developmentally appropriate lessons, and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom in alignment with licensing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Infant/Toddler CDA or higher in Early Childhood Education.
• Ability to obtain Infant/Toddler CDA within one year if provisionally qualified.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within one year).
• Ability to interact with diverse backgrounds.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic computer literacy including email, Google Suite, and data systems.
• Lifts up to 40 pounds and maintains health/safety standards.
• Background checks and physical exam required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized learning plans based on needs and assessments.
• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons to support all domains.
• Implement the Creative Curriculum for Infants and Toddlers with fidelity.
• Create a nurturing environment promoting exploration, curiosity, and social interaction.
• Provide responsive caregiving to support emotional development and autonomy.
• Observe and document progress using notes and tools; use data to inform teaching.
• Support children with special needs via IFSPs and collaboration with families.
• Promote language development through engagement and modeling.
• Use positive behavior guidance strategies to support growth.
• Maintain a safe, clean classroom following licensing and safety guidelines.
• Partner with families through regular communication, home visits, and conferences.
• Encourage family engagement and participation in learning experiences.
• Collaborate with Family Advocates and staff to coordinate services.
• Attend team meetings, trainings, and program activities.
• Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, and health monitoring.
