GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: This position involves assisting teachers with planning, coordinating, and executing a program of instruction for an assigned group of children from birth to five, which could include children with disabilities and dual language learners.
QUALIFICATIONS:Must have a Child Development Associate (CDA) with Infant/ Toddler endorsement, or an AA degree in Early Childhood Education (or related degree with emphasis in Infant/Toddler studies), or be enrolled in a program leading to a CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education.Prefer one year of teaching experience in a childcare center or any combination of acceptable training and experience. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. A current physical, TB Screening or chest X-Ray, drug test, and background check are required prior to being hired. Applicants should list bilingual skills if applicable.
