Job Details
  • Full-time, weekdays 7:30am to 3:30pm, 52 weeks per year
  • Starting at $16.38 per hour
  • Location: 175 Hudson Street, Syracuse
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience working with children under age 3 in a group setting
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds

Employee will be enrolled in a Child Development Associate (CDA) credentialing program.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in implementing a child-centered, quality early childhood program
  • Create a safe, warm, and supportive classroom environment supporting each child's growth
  • Engage with parents or caregivers of enrolled children
  • Support site staff as assigned
  • Conduct observations of children; record attendance and meal counts
  • Serve as bus monitor/rider as assigned
