Job summary

Wisconsin Head Start Association in Clintonville, WI is seeking a Home Visitor to provide Early Head Start home-based services. Start date is as soon as possible, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week and a starting pay of $21.07–$23.18 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Studies, or a related field with three years of related work experience in early childhood; or a two-year degree with four years of related experience; or a Home-Based CDA credential with five years of related experience.
• Experience with pregnant women and children birth to three is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide home visitation to families enrolled in Early Head Start home-based option, incorporating all aspects of Early Head Start services including prenatal and post-partum care, early childhood education, family services, health, nutrition, mental health and special needs (46 home visits annually).

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education

Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies or related field with three years related experience

Two-year degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education/related with four years related experience

Home-Based CDA credential or comparable credential with five years related experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Studies, or a bachelor’s degree in a field related to those above and three years of related work experience in early childhood or;
• A two-year degree or classes equivalent to a two-year degree in Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Studies or related field, and four years of related work experience in early childhood or;
• A Home-Based CDA credential or comparable credential and five years of related work experience in early childhood.

Experience working with pregnant women and children ages birth to three preferred.
