Qualifications

• High School Diploma and Infant Toddler CDA credential or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Be advised that ALL candidates will be subject to a background check.
• Residents of Tennessee or willing to become residents within six months as per Metro ordinance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement weekly lesson plans based on an approved research-based curriculum.
• Provide age-appropriate learning experiences across developmental domains including literacy, math, science, social-emotional, and physical development.
• Adapt lesson plans and materials to meet individual learning needs, including children with disabilities or developmental delays.
• Complete developmental screeners within required timelines.
• Maintain an engaging, inclusive, and well-organized classroom environment that supports exploration and learning.
• Collaborate with families through conferences, notes, calls, and meetings.
