Job summary

Crystal Stairs, Inc. seeks an Early Head Start Coordinator to design, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate high-quality educational services for children from birth to five. You will lead training for Child Development Specialists and FCCH providers to elevate practices and school readiness goals.

You will supervise staff, guide curriculum development, and ensure program compliance while coordinating with partners in a dynamic, onsite environment in Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• BA in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Human Development or related field; knowledge of child development birth to three.
• Two or more years in a State funded child care program, Head Start, or Early Head Start in a management or coordinating position.
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel; strong computer skills; experience in statistical analysis and working with social services or related community activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, coaches, and mentors staff; recommends instructional materials and methods to deliver high-quality services to children.
• Plan and implement a comprehensive child development program meeting Head Start curriculum requirements across settings.
• Provide monitoring and technical assistance to staff overseeing partner programs in delivering a quality Early Head Start program.
