Job summary

OHCAC Head Start in Mansfield is seeking an Associate Teacher for Early Head Start to support infants through preschoolers and participate in a dedicated teaching team.

You will help create positive learning environments, implement age-appropriate activities, and engage families to support child development.

The role includes collaborative planning with a minimum of two teachers per classroom and opportunities for ongoing training and college reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting development of young children (birth to 5 years).
• Ability to work in a collaborative teaching team.
• Willingness to participate in trainings and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain exciting, caring, nurturing, and positive learning environments to foster exploration.
• Participate in a cooperative team of at least two teachers per classroom.
• Cultivate optimal growth and development through curriculum activities in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• As a teaching team, help design, develop, and implement developmentally appropriate activity plans for children based on assessment and screening data.
• Be a team member in engaging parents through caring, meaningful, and professional relationships to enhance child(ren)’s development.
