Job summary

Seven Hills Children's Aid and Family Services is hiring an Early Educator – Teacher. You will team with a Lead Teacher to create a welcoming preschool classroom where children feel valued and eager to learn each day.

You will foster development across social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains, build relationships with families, and participate in ongoing training. Requirements include a High School Diploma and teaching credentials; benefits include health insurance, retirement, tuition

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and meet education/experience options.
• High School Diploma/GED/HiSET required.
• Teacher Certification or CDA credential required.
• Two-year OCCS-approved program in early childhood education required.
• Three credits in Child Growth plus nine months of experience or one practicum required.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons.
• Build strong relationships with children and families.
• Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Assist with classroom management using positive guidance.
• Maintain organized, stimulating, and safe learning spaces.
• Complete documentation and communicate with caregivers.
• Step in as lead when the Lead Teacher is unavailable.
• Attend staff meetings and ongoing training.
