Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring a Teacher in Tulsa, OK to educate infants and toddlers in a hands-on environment. You will deliver developmentally appropriate activities and maintain open communication with families about each child’s milestones.

The role requires 18+ with a HS diploma and a preference for early childhood coursework or a CDA/degree. Candidates with 1 year of teaching experience in child care are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required.
• College-level coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or an associate or bachelor's degree in early education or related field is preferred.
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements as defined by the appropriate State agency, including reporting any suspected cases of child abuse or neglect to the agency and informing the director.
