Job summary

Bright Horizons Family Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Bright Horizons Teacher in the Newton, MA area. This in-person role offers opportunities to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost and includes a $1,000 hiring incentive after 100 days.

Position options include full-time and part-time roles across infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Competitive hourly wages and comprehensive benefits are provided; UP TO date immunizations and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 with HS diploma or GED.
• Coursework in early childhood education, CDA or related degree preferred.
• 1 year teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP).

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet children’s needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe, clean classroom by following required procedures.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements per state and agency guidelines.
• Support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed.
