Job summary

Bright Horizons The Eagle’s Nest at 301 N. Walnut Street in Wilmington, DE is hiring full-time Bright Horizons Teachers. You will create engaging activities, communicate with families, and maintain a safe classroom while supporting coverage across centers and locations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CDA/TECE 1&2, and early childhood coursework or degree; six months of child care experience preferred. Career development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Pass required state and company background checks.
• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma/GED.
• CDA and/or TECE 1 and 2 required; coursework or degree in early childhood.
• Six months of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed.
