Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a dedicated teacher to work with preschoolers and school-agers in a full-time role at our Florham Park center. You will create hands-on activities, communicate child progress to families, and maintain a safe, clean classroom in compliance with center policies.

Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED, background checks, and preferred college coursework in early childhood education; experience in child care is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must pass required state and company background checks.
• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required.
• College-level coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or an associate or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field preferred.
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP).

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
