Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a Teacher in the Austin, TX area to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a Bright Horizons center. This in-person role emphasizes classroom activities, communication with families, and maintaining a safe learning environment.

You will contribute to curriculum delivery, observe and document milestones, and collaborate with a team of educators while pursuing CDA or college degree opportunities at no cost.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED is required.
• College-level coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or an associate or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred.
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
