• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents.
• Manage classroom activities, including lessons, play, breaks, and meals.
• Track children’s progress and adjust as needed.
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom.
• Help children reach developmental milestones.
• Collaborate with others to implement lesson plans.
• Encourage children to interact with each other to develop social skills.
• Provide appropriate supervision for children at all times.
• Facilitate various activities for children, including songs, games, and storytelling.
• Adhere to health/safety and sanitation procedures.

About This Role

Broad Bay Manor School is committed to developing a love of learning for all our students through a unique individualized curriculum. We are currently interviewing for lead teachers for the 2026-2027 school year, starting at the end of August. Candidates must have prior teaching experience with young children, exhibit creativity and adaptability to effectively engage and keep the attention of their young students, and communicate clearly with students and their parents. Patience and energy are also required. Part‑time and full‑time positions may be available.
