Qualifications

• Two years of post-secondary education or Praxis completion.
• CDA certification required or preferred.
• Coursework in Early Childhood or related field may be advantageous.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development of language, social-emotional, and motor skills in various settings (1:1, small group, classroom).
• Collaborate with teaching team to implement IEP objectives and behavior plans.
• Assist with classroom activities and personal hygiene as needed.
• Assist staff and students with appropriate materials and equipment; participate in paraeducator in-service and training.

Education

Two years post-secondary education or Praxis

Child Development Associate (CDA) certification

Coursework in Early Childhood or related field

Associate or Bachelor’s degree
