Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring an Associate Teacher to support early education in-person at a Bright Horizons center. You will assist with hands-on activities, maintain parent communication, and help ensure a safe, clean learning environment for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers.

The role offers full-time and part-time opportunities, with emphasis on meeting state and company education standards and supporting children’s growth and safety on-site at the Penn State Behrend location.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings preferred.
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
