Job summary

Bright Horizons Family Solutions, LLC. is hiring an Assistant Teacher at the Edward Zorinsky Child Development Center in Omaha, NE for full-time, Monday–Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

This role offers opportunities to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost and a chance to grow within a caring team. You will support hands-on activities, communicate with parents, ensure classroom safety, and assist across centers as needed.

Qualifications

• Pass state and company background checks.
• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
• CDA/Associate/Bachelor’s in early education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following procedures.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements as defined by the state agency and report suspected abuse or neglect.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center.
