Job summary

Bright Horizons Family Solutions, LLC seeks an Assistant Teacher in Alpharetta, GA to support infant care with hands-on activities and safe classroom management. You will communicate milestones to families, follow Bright Horizons policies, and complete required background checks and immunizations.

The role offers a $14.85–$18.50 hourly wage, with benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, disability and life insurance, and access to Horizons CDA & Degree

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements as defined by the appropriate State agency.
