GrowthZone, Inc. seeks an Early Education Assistant Manager to coach teachers, monitor licensing compliance, and support daily classroom enrichment across toddler and preschool classrooms.

You will ensure teacher training, onboarding, and ongoing development while maintaining staffing plans and conducting regular observations for quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• CDA Certification or Bachelor’s in Early Education.
• 2+ years of early education teaching experience.
• First-Aid and CPR Certification.
• Food Handler’s Permit.
• Pass Child Care Licensing Background Check.
• Pass a drug test.
• Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Spanish bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and support to teachers to ensure classrooms comply with regulations.
• Maintain classroom ratios and communicate plans to the Early Education Manager.
• Conduct monthly classroom observations and provide coaching based on findings.
• Develop and manage teaching strategies schedules for all teachers.
• Act as a designated director as assigned.
• Onboard new hires and ensure required trainings are completed.
• Conduct regular check-ins with new employees to support their trajectory.
• Deliver trainings during professional development days.
• Work in classrooms as a teacher for set hours weekly.
• Schedule time off requests for classroom pods.
• Collaborate with Early Education Manager on disciplinary actions.
• Stay updated on licensing rules and changes.

Job description

Do you enjoy creating an environment where children can learn, grow and play? As an Early Education Assistant Manager, you will work alongside your peers to support, encourage, and develop teachers within your specific pod as they provide the daily enrichment in our toddler and preschool classrooms. You’ll work to ensure compliance with all licensing rules and regulations and that our teachers receive the support, guidance and training needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Be a presence in classrooms to provide coaching, behavioral and teaching support and ensure each classroom is in compliance with NAEYC and Licensing regulations.
• Ensure classrooms within your pod are always within ratio; develop plans for ratios and communicate those plans to the Early Education Manager.
• Conduct monthly classroom observations; report observations to Early Education Manager and provide coaching to teachers based on those observations.
• Maintain and develop a schedule for teaching strategies for all teachers, including new hires.
• Act as a designated director as assigned.
• Work together with your team to ensure all new hires are onboarded and receive all required trainings.
• Conduct regular check ins with new employees to ensure they are receiving the support needed and are on the right trajectory.
• During professional development days work with Early Ed Manager to create and deliver trainings.
• Work in the classrooms in a teacher role for set number of hours each week.
• Responsible for scheduling and time off requests for your classroom pods
• Work with Early Education Manager to execute any disciplinary action.
• Follow all licensing rules and regulations and keep abreast of any changes.

Qualifications

• CDA Certification or Bachelor’s in Early Education
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching in early education
• First-Aid and CPR Certificate
• Obtain a Food Handler’s Permit
• Pass Child Care Licensing Background Check
• Pass a drug test
• Must speak, read and write English Fluently.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
