Qualifications

• Experience supporting teachers in a classroom setting.
• Strong communication with children, families and staff.
• CPR/First Aid certification and licensing requirements met.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of daily activities and routines.
• Maintain adult–child ratios and supervise children at all times.
• Assist with nutrition and food service handling per CACFP guidelines.
• Model appropriate behavior and provide guidance to interns and volunteers.
• Communicate classroom issues to supervisors and parents as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training.
