Job summary

Brightpoint in Carpentersville, IL invites applications for an Early Childhood Teacher role in a Full-time program. The Teacher uses Head Start, Early Head Start and Creative Curriculum to foster children’s growth through play and hands-on experiences.

You will develop individualized lesson plans, meet with parents, and contribute to a high-quality, NAEYC-accredited program. A supportive supervisory team and competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Child Development or CDA with 30 college credits completed, including 12 hours in Early Childhood Education.
• Ability to obtain Illinois Gateways to Opportunity ECE Level 4 credential within 12 months of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children and/or families.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized lesson plans using Head Start, Early Head Start and Creative Curriculum.
• Meet with parents to support the best outcomes for students.
• Create play-based, hands-on experiences to promote physical, emotional and cognitive growth.
• Work under supervision in a collaborative Brightpoint team environment.

Education

Associate's Degree in Child Development

Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) with 30 college credits completed

Illinois Gateways to Opportunity ECE Level 4 credential within 12 months
