Early Childhood Teacher-Preschool Part-Time - Immediate Opening

Job Summary

Staff are responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing daily classroom operations. Teachers should understand children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that encourages success. Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and staff are essential to meet children's needs, guide teacher assistants, and address parental concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example; foster team success through modeling and coaching.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote social, cognitive, and emotional development.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents via discussions, reports, and conferences.
  • Ensure compliance with all center policies and state regulations.
  • Maintain a healthy, safe, and clean classroom environment.
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in child care within a center-based program.
  • High energy and ability to collaborate effectively with staff, children, and parents.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles.
  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification, including medication administration training.
