Job summary

Cox Health's Cox Child Care Center South in Springfield, MO, seeks a dedicated Teacher to support a safe, enriching learning environment for children. You will assist Lead Teachers with activities, greet families at drop-off, and help with daily tasks like diapering, laundry, and cleaning to keep classrooms ready for learning.

Required: a CDA or MOA waiver, plus 6 college hours in early childhood education; 1–2 years preferred. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 college hours at an accredited college or university.
• MOA Educational Waiver prior to being in child staff ratios or CDA credential.
• Annual clearance from Family Care Safety Registry; TB test; Heartsaver CPR/FA/AED within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, healthy learning environment and promote positive development.
• Assist Lead Teachers in planning, directing, and coordinating activities.
• Greets parents and children at drop-off/pick-up; assist with diapers, potty training, laundry, cleaning.
• Ensure state mandated child/staff ratios and regulatory compliance.
