Job summary

The Sunshine House is hiring daycare teachers in Hope Mills, NC. We offer a Monday–Friday schedule and a pay range of $15.00–$19.00 per hour, with potential increases for advanced education or years of service. Regular evaluations and tuition reimbursement opportunities support your growth within our family.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with young children.
• At least 18-years-old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EDU119 credentials or equivalent required for lead teachers.
• Associate's degree in ECE or related field for some lead teacher positions.
• At least 6 months experience in licensed childcare.
• Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
• Create an engaging classroom where children can learn, play and grow.
• Support children's social and emotional development.
• Foster a love of learning through Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs.
• Build strong partnerships with families through daily app updates and personal discussions.
