Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies seeks dedicated teachers to lead classrooms, mentor peers, and implement its curriculum to meet each child’s needs. You’ll create a safe, nurturing space where children learn through play and activity.

You’ll partner with parents to deliver outstanding care and education, while supporting center goals around enrollment and accreditation. A CDA/NAEYC path, and CPR/First Aid certification are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills; ability to multitask and handle multiple situations.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy required or in process.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Read, write, understand and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support the center’s success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners.
