Job summary

KinderCare is hiring a Teacher to lead and mentor teachers, deliver KinderCare's curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing learning environment. You will partner with families to ensure the best care and education for children and work with center staff to support enrollment, accreditation and engagement.

Ideal candidates have CDA or NAECY candidacy, CPR/First Aid, and 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience; a Bachelor's in ECE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and ability to multi-task across multiple situations.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAECY candidacy requirements; approved state trainer is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred; state qualifications may apply.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in line with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success by working with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and partners.
