Qualifications
  • At least a bachelor’s degree and five years of elementary teaching experience; master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with the developmental needs of 5–8‑year‑old children.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons for different levels and types of learners.
  • Experience designing curriculum for elementary grades.
  • Experience collaborating with a team of teachers.
  • Demonstrated leadership in curriculum development.
  • Academic or professional experience in gifted education.
  • Creative problem‑solving and inquiry‑based educational expertise.
Responsibilities
  • Member of the Lower School faculty and report to the Lower School head.
  • Design and implement curriculum for early childhood (5–8‑year‑old).
  • Collaborate with other homeroom teachers and content‑area specialists.
  • Attend and participate in faculty, department, and grade‑level meetings.
  • Participate in Winterim and supervise students on off‑campus school activities.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

This position is full‑time.

Salary and Benefits

Competitive salary and benefits package: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long‑term disability, excellent retirement plan, and section 125 plan. Salary range is $72,000–$132,000.
