Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Minnesota is seeking a dedicated Teacher to lead classrooms, mentor staff, and implement our curriculum with a focus on individual child needs. The role emphasizes creating a safe, engaging learning space and partnering with families to support development.

You will collaborate with center staff to meet enrollment and accreditation goals while building strong ties to the community and local authorities. Benefits include discounted child care and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple classroom responsibilities.
• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy in progress (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum with attention to each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with and connect with parents to support children’s development.
• Support your center’s success by assisting with enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and partners.
