Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies, a nationwide early childhood education provider, is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher for our center in West Linn, Oregon. You’ll lead classrooms, implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, and partner with families to foster confident, curious learners.

In this role, you’ll mentor teammates, ensure safety and inclusivity, and collaborate with center leadership to support enrollment and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a classroom.
• Active CDA Credential or pursuing NAEYC candidacy is required or preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum in line with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for learning and play.
• Partner with parents to support children’s development.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
