Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher to lead, coach, and mentor staff while delivering KinderCare's curriculum in a safe, nurturing classroom. You will engage with families to ensure the best care and education for each child, and support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and may involve state trainer duties and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• State trainer certification (preferred).
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR & First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physical ability to lift 40 pounds and engage with children.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way aligned with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
