Job summary

CoxHealth's Child Care Center South in Springfield, MO seeks dedicated teachers for a paid practicum. Assist with activities for children 6 weeks through 12 years, support Lead Teachers, and help maintain a safe, organized classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum college hours or MOA waiver or CDA credential.
• Child care regulatory compliance knowledge encouraged.
• Excellent communication with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, healthy learning environment and promote child development.
• Assist Lead Teachers with planned activities and learning objectives.
• Greet parents and children during drop-off/pick-up times.
• Handle daily tasks: diapers/potty training, laundry, cleaning surfaces, and toy cleanup.
• Ensure state-mandated staff-child ratios and comply with regulations.
