Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring a Teacher in Deer Park, IL for full-time roles across infant, toddler, and preschool age groups. You will design hands-on activities, communicate with families about progress, and maintain a safe, clean classroom that follows state requirements.

The role supports paid tuition through our Horizons CDA & Degree Program. Additionally, you will meet IL state qualifications for teachers and may pursue CDA or higher education at no cost.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CDA or associate/bachelor’s in ECE or related field preferred.
• 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities meeting children's needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones.
• Keep classroom safe and clean by following essential procedures.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements and report suspected abuse or neglect to the appropriate agency.
