Job summary

United Ability, Inc. is seeking a dedicated early learning assistant for Hand In Hand Early Learning Program. You will work alongside teachers, therapists and staff to support children of all abilities, helping them develop, learn and grow in an inclusive setting.

The role involves implementing lesson plans, communicating with families about milestones, and ensuring a safe learning environment. A HS diploma or GED and ability to lift 30 lbs are required, with background checks and screenings as

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to stoop, bend, lift up to 30 lbs and participate in physical activities.
  • Background check, drug screen and physical may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the teacher with implementing lesson plans and curriculum.
  • Communicate with parents and share milestones in each child’s day.
  • Maintain a safe, consistent development environment and supervised activities.
