We are seeking Early Childhood Assistants to support our lead teachers as they deliver an intentional Waldorf curriculum to children ages 2-6. Our Early Childhood Program is grounded in rhythmic daily activities that includes cooking, crafting, self-care, rest, and outdoor free play. Make a difference in the lives of young children!
This is an hourly paid, academic year (early September to early June) position. The Classroom Assistant is expected to arrive in the classroom by 8:00 a.m. each day, ready to begin their tasks by 8:15 a.m., and remain on campus until 3:30 p.m.

Physical Demands of Job:
The Early Childhood Assistant must be able to repetitively bend, stretch and stoop and lift children. Must be able to move light furniture and bulk food ingredients. Must be able to fully maintain sight and sound child supervision and be willing to work outdoors in a variety of weather, accompanying children throughout the campus, including wooded areas, uneven and steep dirt paths, stairs etc.
