Children’s Home & Aid is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher for the Marletta Darnall Schaumburg Child & Family Center. You will implement Head Start, Early Head Start, and Creative Curriculum to support children’s growth through play and hands-on experiences.

You will develop individualized lesson plans, meet with parents, and work within a NAEYC-accredited, ExceleRate Gold Center. A collaborative, high-quality supervision environment awaits you.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Child Development or CDA with 18+ ECE hours or enrollment with 30 credits including 12 ECE hours.
• Ability to obtain Illinois Gateways to Opportunity ECE Level 4 within 12 months.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with children and/or families.

Responsabilités

• Supports classroom curriculum implementation reflecting mandated elements and parental/cultural influences.
• Educates children and conducts required screenings.
• Assesses children and documents results.
• Collaborates with teaching team to establish classroom goals and contribute lesson ideas.
• Conducts small group, large group, and individualized activities.
• Supervises safety and wellbeing in indoor and outdoor environments.
