Job summary

The Learning Experience - Ledgewood is hiring an Early Childhood Teacher for a 2.5 to 3-year-old classroom in New Jersey. The role focuses on nurturing, structured learning environments that turn curiosity into meaningful learning experiences.

You will lead daily routines, implement the LEAP Curriculum, support language and social-emotional development, and collaborate with a caring teaching team. Full-time, Monday to Friday, with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with toddlers or preschool-age children preferred.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus.
• Patient, nurturing, dependable, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily routines and learning experiences for children approximately 2.5-3 years old.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Engage children through art, music, movement, sensory play, stories, and hands-on activities.
• Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Encourage independence, self-help skills, and positive peer interactions.
• Support toileting, meals, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions.
• Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive guidance.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom.
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

Early Childhood Teacher - 2.5 to 3-Year-Old Classroom

Location: The Learning Experience - Ledgewood, NJ

Pay: $17-$18 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Ledgewood is seeking a caring and energetic Early Childhood Teacher to join our classroom serving children approximately 2.5-3 years old.

This is an exciting developmental stage as children build language, independence, friendships, and confidence while preparing for the preschool years. We're looking for a teacher who can provide a nurturing, structured environment while turning children's natural curiosity into meaningful learning experiences.
