Job summary

Washington Park United Methodist Church Preschool in Denver is seeking a Preschool Lead Teacher to guide children aged 1–5 in a nurturing, play-based learning environment.

This role offers $20.00–$23.00 per hour, with 20–40 hours per week, in-person work and a strong emphasis on safety, development, and family communication. Training and professional growth are encouraged within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of Early Childhood Education experience required.
• Driver's License required.
• PDIS Level II Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet the individual needs of the children.
• Interact with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
• Present age-appropriate expectations to children.
• Plan and implement activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.

Preschool Lead Teacher (Children aged 1-5)

Teacher daily duties include:

Schedule:

• Day shift (School Day is from 9:15am-2:45pm)
• Before and After Care shifts available (8:00am-9:15am and 2:45pm-4:00pm)
• Monday to Friday
