Job summary

A Little Journey Montessori School in Bozeman, MT is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join our licensed childcare team. This full-time role focuses on creating a calm, engaging classroom environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

You will work with a team of teachers, manage activities, monitor milestones, and communicate with families to support each child’s development. Hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, year-round, with minor schedule adjustments for opening

Early Childhood Educator

A Little Journey Montessori School is looking for a full‑time teacher to join our team as an early childhood teacher. Experience with early childhood education is preferred for this position. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is consistent and reliable, loves working with others and young children, adaptable and flexible to changing circumstances and environments. They can take charge of classroom management and work alongside other teachers. This is an amazing opportunity for those interested in a career in Montessori and/or early childhood teaching and education. We have an infant, toddler, and preschool program within our school and are looking to hire a qualified teacher for this licensed childcare facility. Hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a year‑round program. The work schedule will vary within these hours with the possibility of 30 minutes on either end for opening or closing chores.

Requirements

• Hands‑on infant, child and adult CPR/First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Must pass a criminal background check for state licensing requirements.
• Verification of immunizations (MMR and Tdap).
• Training courses for state licensing requirements within 30 and 90 days of hire.

Salary

• Pay is DOE starting at $18.50 per hour.
