Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  1. 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
  2. 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
  3. CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable laws and requirements concerning immunizations, physicals, and health and safety training. You will work in person at an early education/preschool child care center, providing supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services according to Bright Horizons’ policies and legal standards to ensure children's safety.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.75 – $25.35. Actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors.
