Job summary

Cheder Menachem Preschool is seeking a warm, flexible Early Childhood Support Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This role supports classrooms, covers planning time and absences, and collaborates with teachers to nurture infants through Pre-K.

Ideal candidates have or pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education, experience in childcare or preschool settings, and a commitment to developmentally appropriate practice; part-time options may be available, with a schedule from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Support classrooms across preschool as needed.
• Cover planning time, breaks, meetings, and staff absences.
• Assist in infant to Pre-K classrooms.
• Lead small group activities and outdoor learning.
• Support children's development across cognitive, language, social and physical domains.
• Maintain safe, organized, engaging classrooms.
• Assist with arrival, dismissal, meals, and transitions.
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure continuity of care.
